Miranda K. Mandel is an attorney at Chicago Law Partners, LLC. Randy practices corporate and not-for-profit law and advises in the area of legal ethics.

Experience


Randy has extensive corporate and transactional law experience, including advising for-profit and non-profit entities on corporate governance, commercial, and contract law issues. She also has represented numerous clients in acquisition, merger, and divestiture transactions. Prior to joining Chicago Law Partners, Randy was Vice President and Senior Loss Prevention Counsel at ALAS, Inc., a provider of professional liability insurance to law firms and lawyers across the United States. In that role, she assisted member firms in managing exposure to professional liability through education and advice on legal ethics, lawyer liability, and effective risk mitigation. She has spoken and written extensively on these topics. Randy also served as a Subject Matter Expert for the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam.

Randy has received an AV Preeminent® Peer Rating in Martindale-Hubbell®.

Randy graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University Mauer School of Law in 1980, where she was a John H. Edwards Fellow and became a member of the Order of the Coif. She clerked for the Hon. Paul H. Roney, United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, before going into private practice.

Randy was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1981.
